Seth is a business and law guru with his company, Candela Law Group, where he focuses on helping local businesses and non-profit organizations to thrive in a dynamic, complex, and competitive world.
Outside of law, Seth teams with non-profit organizations to explore untold stories in the Pacific Rim through photojournalism and writing. “There are stories on every corner, in every alley, at every food stall. They happen in a moment. On most occasions, we pass them by without notice or thought. Photography reminds me to stop and observe, to engage with the world around me.”
Seth utilizes photography as a method to challenge himself to think objectively and critically, to constantly learn, to grapple with intriguing and difficult questions. Seth attempts to capture candid moments of life objectively and honestly, that evoke emotion, that compel reflection.
“I want my creative work to explore the extraordinary cultures in the Pacific Rim and to ponder the social, political, and religious issues facing these communities. And I want to embrace it all with grace, truth and openness.”
Life is best lived with a healthy dose of curiosity and diligent pursuit of knowledge and new experiences. When we do this, we begin to see that great stories and extraordinary people surround us. Seth’s photojournalism and writing journey is an attempt to capture just a few.
